Choose the right processing method
Browser editing is useful for page changes and visible marks. Office conversion through LibreOffice preserves more layout than text-based preview, but unusual fonts and complex layouts still require review. PDF-to-Office exports extract text and do not recreate original tables, charts or page designs.
Repair is an attempt, not a promise to recover every damaged document. PDF/A output needs an independent validator before archival use. Text comparison excludes graphics and formatting. Typed signatures are not digital certificates. Cropping and covering text are not secure redaction.
